Exploratory Classes

Exploratory Period takes place during the last 30 minutes of the school day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Exploratory courses are based on student-interest, student-choice, and teacher-interest, teacher-choice. Students sign-up for Exploratory classes each quarter and by the end of their middle school career, they will have had 12 exploratory experiences! The purpose of these experiences is to provide our scholars exposure to the different career options and industry sectors as an Early College and Career Middle School, to help scholars to identify their interests, to allow scholars the space for creativity, and for scholars to build deep relationships with their peers and teachers.
